Aneleda got her copy before I got my free sample. So the first look is from her camera. But it’s a physical thing, and it exists.

Month: June 2015
For those who care about such things (cricket, cricket), I wanted to mention some updates I’ve made on this website, some of which you may already have noticed. This is all about getting everything ready for the Hidden Gold release a week from tomorrow (!!!), and making sure that this site’s organization and look-and-feel are what I think it should be in the to-be-hoped-for event that there might be more traffic coming this way. In no particular order:
Single: The Last Plantagenet
The second single is The Last Plantagenet. (If you enjoy this, please share it!)
Single: My Thirst
Update: Doing all the things.
Hidden Gold is now uploaded to Kunaki (for CD orders) and CD Baby (for digital distribution–the irony!). The title track now has a song page of its own (I performed it at Roses, so my “rule” is satisfied.) It goes on sale two weeks from today.
What remains now is to get ready for the release party and concert (if you are interested in coming to Paramus on Saturday the 20th, let me know), and probably put out a teaser or two to give folks a taste of what it actually sounds like.
Enjoy your weekend. I’m going to chill with the family.

Mastering the album
I’m listening to the roughs. (In recording, “roughs” apparently are “masters” before their zits clear up.) In theory, I will have a master disc in my hands on Friday. Yes, this Friday.
The most incredible part of this project has been collaborating with so many talented people who were so eager to help make it possible. The SCA and musician communities are an unbelievably generous group of people. This isn’t my official acknowledgments, this is just sharing about what a joyful experience this has been.
